OTC成立于1969年，旗下的展會美國OTC以及巴西OTC至今都成為全球綜合類石油天然氣展會。馬來西亞國際石油天然氣展OTC Asia在馬來西亞吉隆坡舉辦，是美國休斯敦OTC的姊妹展，是在亞洲舉行的又一國際性的盛會。展會現場展示先進的海上鉆井、勘探、生產和環(huán)保技術，聚集了來自世界各地的石油天然氣行業(yè)的專業(yè)人士共同分享行業(yè)的尖端技術以及產品。
此展會同樣由美國休斯頓OTC展的13家組織機構主辦，是亞洲區(qū)域內頗具影響力的海洋石油技術展覽會。
OTC Asia 2020 was held virtually to provide the industry a platform for continued knowledge-sharing and professional development, and to preserve the significant work of the programme committee and authors who had prepared for the in-person event originally planned for March 2020.
